The game code does not set HTTP cookies, advertising identifiers, analytics trackers or fingerprinting scripts. Your hosting connection may involve separate security technologies used by the hosting provider.

Your choice: remember results

You can play without enabling storage. On the home screen, “Remember my results and streak on this browser” is off by default. Enabling it allows the game to save completed case scores, hints, attempts, completion times and the calendar days that qualify for your streak. It does not save answers typed into a puzzle or an unfinished run.

Storage used

• moriartys-gambit-save-choice: remembers that you selected saving.
• moriartys-gambit-cabinet-v1: holds your completed results and streak dates.

Both are first-party local storage on this browser and website address. They remain until you switch saving off, clear site data, or your browser removes them. There is no server copy or cross-device synchronisation. The game reads the saving preference to apply your choice and reads saved results only when saving is enabled.

Change your choice

Untick the same control on the home screen to stop saving and delete these two entries. Results remain in memory for the current page session only. To remove any older practice data as well, clear all browser site data for this address. You can continue playing without saving.

Website files

Your browser may cache files in its normal HTTP cache. This build does not create an offline service-worker cache. It removes older Moriarty’s Gambit offline caches when loaded.

Analytics

No visitor analytics scripts are included in this release. If this changes, this notice and any required choices will be updated before activation.
