About the game

Five evidence puzzles. Five recovered fragments. One final deduction.

The Cabinet of Deceptions contains 196 original cases and 1,176 checks. Each case combines word, number, visual and logic puzzles. The final Gambit asks you to use the evidence you collected along the way.

Case 008 is today's case on 27 September 2026, with cases 001–007 in the archive. One more case unlocks at UK midnight each day from 28 September 2026. The story moves to a new location every seven cases. The archive keeps the latest ten available cases.

Moriarty is the creator's surname. This is an independent original puzzle game.

How to play

1. Choose a case and solve its five exhibits.
2. Use the scratchpad, answer controls and optional hints as you need them.
3. Study your recovered evidence before making the final deduction.

There is no timer and no account. Completed cases and an unfinished case are saved in this browser, so you can return later.
