About the game
Five puzzles. One hidden connection.
Moriarty's Gambit is an original daily meta-puzzle created by Ben Moriarty. Every edition contains five deliberately different challenges. Each produces one answer. Those five answers then combine through a final mechanism—the Gambit.
The individual puzzles may be logical, numerical, visual, linguistic, interactive, theatrical or downright strange. The real contest is recognising the plan that links them.
The quality promise
Each puzzle is independently solved and checked before release. Where a challenge is capable of having more than one answer, it is rejected or rewritten. Difficulty should come from thought, not from broken clues or obscure trivia.
Why Moriarty?
Moriarty is the creator's surname. The game has its own original identity and is not affiliated with Sherlock Holmes, Professor Moriarty, or any film, television, theatre, literary or game adaptation.
